Job Description
Hard Drive Central is the longest operating computer store in Mitchell, SD, providing high quality computer services for over 13 years. We offer computer service and repair, and the sale of personal and professional computer systems, upgrades, networking, detection and removal of viruses and spyware, as well as on-site installation and implementation of Xerox brand copiers and printers.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Troubleshoot end-user PC problems of all complexity, often requiring in-depth examination of underlying PC, OS, configurations, and application software.
• Provide service, upgrades, virus and spyware removal, direct sales and technical support for personal and professional computer systems and networks.
• Communicate status of open work tickets and services performed to clients in professional and timely manner.
• Maintenance of internal network (Windows Server 03 and Exchange 03) and workstations.
• Troubleshooting the following (not limited to): wireless network, network connectivity, windows terminal services, printers, scanners, fax machines, and servers.
• Complete Xerox Analyst training. After completion of company paid Xerox analyst training, will be responsible to assist when installing Xerox equipment to print, scan, and fax at customer’s location.
• Provide phone support and troubleshooting on various issues regarding the Xerox equipment.
• Other duties as assigned.
Compensation:
Base salary of $35 to $60k. Salary highly dependent on experience.

Job Requirements
Qualifications:
• Associates degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field
• In addition to degree, ideal candidate will have minimum of 3 years of related experience.
• Experience with Server 2003 and Exchange 2003
• Experience in wireless configuration and troubleshooting
• Experience in network troubleshooting
• Willingness to complete Xerox Analyst Training (online classes and a few 1 week classes which require travel)
• Previous customer service experience a plus
• A+ Certification a plus
• Ability to prioritize and follow-up on tasks
• Ability to collaborate and work well in a team environment
• Good oral and written communication skills regardless of audience
• Aptitude toward solving problems and understanding complex concepts
• Independently troubleshoot basic problems and resolve them
• Candidate must be able to pass background check and drug screen, and have a clean driving record.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs
• Must be trustworthy, responsible, and dependable.
